The surface area was then 4 ha of Macon Viré, the appellation of the time, from his father Joseph Bonhomme. The beginnings were not easy, but over the years the Domaine acquired a reputation thanks to well-controlled winemaking and an applied quality approach.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is why, for more than fifty years, André Bonhomme has played a major role in the Mâcon region by being a precursor of bottling at the estate, but also by being a co-founder of the Vignerons Indépendants de Saône-et-Loire or even a co-initiator of the recognition of the AOC Viré Clessé.\u003cbr\u003eAn estate where the family tradition has meaning.\u003cbr\u003eToday, André Bonhomme has handed over the reins to his son-in-law Eric Palthey and his daughter Jacqueline, who are joined by their sons Aurélien and Johan.\u003cbr\u003eThe estate uses organic viticulture on some 14 hectares of clay-limestone soil in the communes of Viré and Clessé, producing 98% white wines and 2% reds.\u003cbr\u003eThe white wine is made from the Chardonnay grape variety and the red wine from the Gamay grape variety.\u003cbr\u003eThe respect for the product and the passion for the winegrower's profession mean that the Domaine André Bonhomme is distributed in many countries throughout the world, but also in France through restaurants and private individuals, some of whom have been loyal for many years, and whom we would like to thank.\u003c\/p\u003e\n","products":[],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0505\/6308\/8558\/collections\/HOB1zWBql5SStQjRoYlRHlMCuefrM7_0dYfx6IZNIE0.jpg?v=1698581421","url":"https:\/\/chill-living-wines.be\/collections\/domaine-andre-bonhomme-andre-bonhomme.oembed","provider":"Chill Living Wines","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
